When it comes to using promotional products to reward and encourage clients every process you develop in offering branded products is critical in maximizing the ROI of your activity. The cycle of the seasons and associated weather is an important consideration in connecting with consumers and in drawing their attention so it makes perfect sense to consider the summertime conditions which will soon be upon us.
Most people in Australia spend more time outdoors in the warmer months. Combine this fact with daylight savings and you get a chance for switched-on marketers to connect with current clients and new business opportunities. A popular promotional idea for the warmer months is promotional sunscreen. What’s more, if your company is planning an outdoor event or investing in a sports sponsorship sun-block is a must have item these days.
The Australia summer means it’s time for the beach and this means promotional gifts towels become a must have item. Nobody’s day at the beach is complete without the right towel which you can use to dry yourself after swimming and then use to bask in the sun.
Another high visibility, personal protective offering which has proven to be popular over the years is a pair of promotional sunglasses. The sunglass brands you buy in major department stores are amongst the most high margin fashion items available at retail.

Promotional Products for Company Image
I’m browsing a chapter about branded promotional products, why is this guy becoming so personal? My reasoning is simple: branded items can be the difference between being forgotten or being remembered. So this avoided the question – what are you doing to be kept in mind?
The promotional products industry is $22 billion dollars deep and as wide as the blue Missouri skies. From tote bags to jackets, Apple Headphones to adult onesies, there’s no limit of items to help you be remembered. Many a study has been done as to why these types of promotional items are perfect for making sure you achieve your legacy goals. For example, 71.6% of tradeshow attendees who received a branded stuff remembered the name of the company that gave it to them. Think about that for a second; if you give out ten water bottles to ten people at a tradeshow, seven of those people will keep you in mind.
Still doubting the power that the hottest promotional items play in making a true legacy for you and your company?
Consumers keep trade show giveaways calendars for twelve months. That’s a yearlong marketing campaign you’ve set in motion…just by giving them a calendar with your name on it.
Millennials are more likely to have a logoed desk accessory than any other generation – That’s an easy way to make sure the most social generation in history is seeing you every day. I am a millennial, and I approve of this statistic.
Out of all the Americans that own branded drinkware, 50% use their drinkware 2 to 3 times a week – By doing so, you are literally in their face marketing to them, and they can’t be annoyed because you’re actually helping them enjoy that nice, cool, refreshing glass of lemonade they’ve been waiting for all day long.
I could keep going, but you get the point logo products by now, right? Branded items are the key to being unforgotten. Social media is great, until you get replaced on the timeline by the next guy who posts a funny video of a corgi dancing to ‘Single Ladies’. Television ads aren’t bad either. Geico’s doing alright. But commercials are expensive and, if they’re not aimed well enough, can totally miss their mark.
Branded items give your brand impressions and a life beyond just a screen or a piece of paper. Branded items put you in the midst of those you’re trying to reach. Branded, corporate gifts create quality impressions at a cost-effective rate. All in all, branded items cause you to be remembered.
Necessity of Promotional Marketing Agency
You many need an important promotional marketing campaign regarding to an upcoming trade show. The show is a main part of your annual marketing and sales planning, and a chance for you to find new markets and customers. In other words, you are required to get it right.
Not only do you need to drive foot traffic to your booth, but you also imprint your company’s name and logo branding on the minds of attendees effectively both before and after the show. Then you’ll want to follow up on that engagement to gain more chances of a sale. Getting from that idea to the dedicated result you need requires many painstaking planning, effective spending, and hard work.
However, you’re in need of huge help no matter whether it’s from your internal team or external experts. If the project is large enough-or your in-house staff isn’t large enough-you’ll absolutely need that outside help from branding specialists and full-service creative partners, from beginning to end. Here are some reasons to retain a promotional marketing agency to get your next major campaign off the ground.
Knowing what promotional products will be effective is tricky unless you have a promotional marketing veteran on your team. You may also guess what creative spins you can put on your branding to really make a campaign land. That’s where an agency can steer you to the right path from sketch to corporate gifts.
Of course, you can snag 100 cotton shirts and print your logo to them with a local screen printer, but is that something your audience really will value? Chances are they’ll end up in the bottom of the third drawer down in someone’s dresser, never to see the light of day again.
Where a promotional marketing agency shines is in their ability to deliver something special. That could be a top-quality shirt that’s more durable and attractive than what you’d be able to put together on your own, but it also can be promo products you’ve never thought of before, like branded water bottles or golf balls. At last, it’s about product integrity and relevance as much as it is the actual catalog of products.
Now you’ve decided on your message, and you’ve got a small flotilla of palettes filled with promotional branded pens and caps headed your way. Unless, again, you’re working an agency, in which case you are working with unlimited possibilities. Promo Centric, for example, makes products to order and delivers via fast, efficient shipping.
We also have a big warehouse space that allows us to bring in the products our clients need, do the printing and customization work we specialize in, and then ship those trade show giveaways where they need to go to ensure they arrive in time for your planned event, or even to multiple locations. Top Promotional Items wholesale 2019
The Promotional Products Association International, which have over hundreds of vendors displaying all the latest and greatest items in the promotional industry. Every year, when I go I always bring a list of items that customers are particularly looking for as well as trying to keep my eye out for buzz worthy or popular items.
But enough self promotion, here is my list of the top promotional items.
Custom Knit Gloves for the Masses
Custom Knit gloves, Toques and Scarves. These items have been around for a few years, but the minimums used to be in the thousands, which made them unreachable for most brands. This year however you can order a fully custom knit scarf with a minimum 100 piece order. This makes a truly custom piece within reach for just about everyone. The neat thing about this product is that you can make it as awesome as you want by using up to 7 yarn colors for 1 flat fee and using new “HD” knitting the images can be more sophisticated and vibrant than your traditional soccer scarf.
Custom Light Bulb
Origaudio launched a line of LED light bulbs. The bulbs are a set of interlocking panels with 3 LED bulbs each. The bulb is printed 4 color process on every panel, so the branding choices are endless. The bulb is said to last 28 years and consumes less power than a regular bulb. They are also dimmable without requiring a dimmer switch; all you need to install it is a standard light socket. This unique promotional product was so cool that I even bought a sample at the show.
Wearable Technology
Wearable technology is a product I am really torn on. The retail market is dominated by Apple, Samsung and Fit Bit. Logo-branding those promotional items are not cheap at all, besides, they doesn’t leave much room for a distributor to make any money. Last year I didn’t see any fitness trackers at the show, but this year there were a bunch.
Hand Warmers
It is an electric hand warmer that is worn around your waist. You often see this type of promo product being worn by NFL quarter backs, but now it’s available and safe to use in industry. I tried one on at the show and would love to have this for the next time I’m shoveling my driveway on a blustery day. After all, they are useful and creative corporate gifts.
The Rag Bag
I was a little puzzled by this product at the very first beginning because it offers to much green potential! It is made with recycled t-shirts and it is made in the USA, plus it is designed to be reused after being a bag as a rag! They say one bag is 8 times more absorbent than a traditional paper towel and can be washed and reused over and over like a regular executive gifts dish rag. Therefore, the bag can be reused over and over or it can be recycled into a rag.
